Ex Half of an 80.
in fractions
1/2 * 80 = 40
in Percents
50% of 80 (0.50*80) = 40
When the fraction is smaller than 1, you will get less than the full 80. (as in our example where we got 40). When the fraction is 1, then you get the full 80. When the fraction is more than one you get more than 80.
There percentage equivalent would be a percentage less than 100 gives less than 80. A percentage of 100 gives the full 80. A percentage greater than 100 give more than 80.
A fraction of 1 is the same as a percentage of 100 (100%). Both mean the same thing.
So to answer your question, a fraction greater than 1 would mean that the equivalent percent is greater than 100%.

It really helps a lot to know that "percent" means "hundredth".16.7% = 16.7/100 = 167/1000
I don't know but it is 35% and 35/100.
3/4 because the percent is 100%, so 25 x 3 = 75% now me know it is 3/4
6/100 isn't it? or 3/50, that's the lowest it can go to....well....I don't know but that's my answer!
i know its 2.4 as a percent but I'm not sure about the fraction.
Double the numerator. If the answer is greater than the denominator then the fraction is greater than half.Double the numerator. If the answer is greater than the denominator then the fraction is greater than half.Double the numerator. If the answer is greater than the denominator then the fraction is greater than half.Double the numerator. If the answer is greater than the denominator then the fraction is greater than half.
A fraction f is greater than a fraction g if (f - g) is positive.
Such as when the fraction is 6/2 it is that's 3 wholes
You know when a fraction is equivalent to a whole number when both the numerator and denominator is the same. For example 2/2 is equivalent to the number two.
If a fraction is greater than a positive number x, then its reciprocal is between 0 and 1/x.
An improper fraction is one where the numerator is equal to or greater than the denominator.
If the numerator (top number) is more than the denominator (bottom number), then the fraction is greater than one.
If the denominator is positive and the numerator is less than the denominator then the fraction is less than 1. If the denominator is positive and the numerator is greater than the denominator then the fraction is greater than 1.
Convert both fractions to a common base and compare the size of their numerators.
9.51%= 0.0951 in decimal= 951/10000 in fraction
sometimes It depends if you are Asian or not and know the answer
