Prime numbers can ONLY be divided (without a remainder) by themselves and the number 1.

No even number can ever be a Prime number.

The number 10 is an even number and can be divided by 5 (10/5=2) and 2 (10/2=5)

10 is a composite number because it has factors other than 1 and itself. Specifically, it is an even number greater than 2 which means it has 2 as a factor.
