Pi is not just extremely long, it's infinite. The ratio of circumference to diameter of a circle in fractional form is 22/7 . Dividing a prime or a multiple of a prime (x), by the prime (y) will always be infinite. So dividing 22 (a multiple of 11 which is a prime) by 7 (a prime) is infinite.

Not sure what you're talking about, but possibly the prime counting function? pi(x) is the number of prime numbers less than or equal to x. e.g. pi(5) is 3 because there are 3 prime numbers (2, 3, 5) less than or equal to 5.
