It is not.

Of the infinitely many primes only one (the number 2) is even, the rest are all odd. The sum of any two primes other than 2 is even and therefore not a prime. If one of the primes in the sum is 2 then the sum is a prime only if the other is the lower of a pair of twin primes.

So, while it is possible, it is certainly more likely that the sum is a composite.

Is the sum of any two prime numbers always a composite number?

The sum of any two prime numbers is not always a composite number. The sum of 2 and 11 is 13, and 13 is a prime number, not a composite number.

Why are no prime numbers perfect numbers?

Prime numbers have two factors. The sum of their proper divisors is always 1.

What 3 odd prime numbers have sum 32?

That isn't possible. The sum of three odd numbers will always be odd. You can make the sum of 3 prime numbers equal to 32 if one of them is 2 (which is not odd).

Can the sum of 2 odd prime numbers ever be prime?

No. The sum of two odd numbers is always even, and no prime is even (apart from 2, but it is the lowest prime, so no primes can be added to form it).

Is the sum of two prime factors is an even numbers?

Mostly yes, but not always.

What is the sum of all positive prime numbers?

By Euclid, there are an infinite number of prime numbers. The prime sequence is always increasing and > 0, hence by the Divergence Test the sum doesn't converge, so it's infinity

What is the sum of the 1st prime numbers?

What numbers as a sum of two prime numbers 95?

You can't write that as the sum of two prime numbers. Note: Goldbach's Conjecture (for expressing numbers as the sum of two prime numbers) applies to EVEN numbers.

Is it true that the sum of two prime numbers is always an even numbr between 30 and 60?

No. Some prime numbers are far above 60.

Can the sum of two prime numbers be a prime number?

Yes, but since 2 is the only even prime number and the sum of two odd numbers is always even, one of the two prime numbers being added will always be a 2. So, for example: 3 + 2 = 5 11 + 2 = 13 71 + 2 = 73

What 2 prime numbers whose sum is not a prime number?

Becouse every prime number (except 2) is odd, the sum of 2 prime numbers will always be even (and 2 is the only even prime). The exceptions are 11 and 2 for example; 11 = prime, 2 = prime and 13=prime.
