The first three common multiples of 6, 7 and 8 are:

168, 336, and 504

The multiples continue 672, 840, 1008, 1176, 1344, ...
168, 336, 504
168, 336, 504
The LCM is the smallest one and it is 168. One way to find this is to look at the prime factorization of the three numbers.

6=2x3

7=7

8=23

So we use the 23 because it is the largest factor of 2 and the 3 and the 7.

and 8x3x7=168,

For the next biggest multiple. We can take 168x2=366

and then we can use 168x3=504

We used an extra 2 first and then and extra 3 so obtain the second and thrid biggest.
factoring

6=2*3

7=1*7

8=2*2*2

LCM=2*2*2*3*7=168 336 and 504
They are 168*1, 168*2 and 168*3.

You can use the calculator that comes as part of your computer to evaluate these.
