There are an infinite number of fractions equivalent to any rational number. For 1/3, this includes 1/3, 3/9, 9/27, 27/81, 81/243, (-1)/(-3), (1/3)/1, (1/9)/(1/3), π/(3π), (that's pi, but it also works for any real or complex number) and infinite others, of varying simplicities.
