There is no such thing as a Highest Common Multiple (HCM), for it always equals to infinity, since multiples always stretch forever.

For example, the HCM of 4 and 7.

Multiples of 4: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, ... infinity
Multiples of 7: 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, ...infinity

According to the working, the highest common factor of any number will always be infinity.
Very little in a practical sense. The highest common multiple of any set of numbers is an infinite amount.
