How do you subtract mixed fractions by simple fractions?
You want to know? It's like that. First, if this question, like
that:
1/9 + 2/8 =
The denomanator, the bottom number is special.
9x1 =9
9x2= 18 and then on.
also 8. We will need to check if any answers are the same. and
find the LCD, like the Least denomantor. So the answer the same is.
Divide it by the denomanator before, and times the numerator to
find the numerator for each of the numbers. Then put the
denomanator on the bottom and add it. To add it, the denomanator of
the answer will be the same as the answer you found. Then, the
numerator, the top number will be subtracted like normal. This is a
easy way, but many steps. The add will be like that too!
do these:
1/5 + 3/7=
2/7 - 5/8=
Hope you enjoy! If you got them wrong, do these.
4/8 + 7/9 =
8/9 - 5/9
