A common factor means that there is more than one number involved. 32 is not more than one number. If you meant 3 and 2, then the greatest common factor(gcf) is 1.
You need at least two numbers to find a GCF.

It is not possible to give a sensible answer to this question. The greatest common factor (GCF) refers to a factor that is COMMON to two or more numbers. You have only one number in the question!

"Common" means "same for both". You've only got one number there,

so there can't be anything 'common' about it.
