The GCF is 5. The "greatest common factor" of any two or more numbers is the largest number by which each could be divided with an integer (non-fractional) result. For these two numbers, * 35 = 5 x 7 * 60 = 5 x 3 x 2 x 2 and the only factor they have in common is 5. If they had more than one common factor, you would multiply all those factors together to determine the GCF. (for another technique, see the related question)
