There is really no such thing as a "greatest common multiple". Once you find the least common multiple of a set of numbers, you can keep adding the LCM to itself over and over again. Each new number you get will be a common multiple of your set of numbers, but each new number will always be larger than the previous. This means that you can keep adding while the number approaches infinity and you will still never find a greatest multiple.
They are: 4 and 24 respectively
The greatest common multiple of any set of integers is infinite.
The greatest common multiple is an infinite term and not very practical for problem solving.
Answer: Infinity or there is none. One common multiple of 8 and 28 is 224. If I double it, which is 448, I have a larger common multiple. If I double it again, which is 896, I have an even larger common multiple. I can continue doubling it forever, so there is no greatest common multiple, or it can be said to be infinite.
8 and 48
The greatest common multiple of 8 and 20 is 4.
The least common multiple of two numbers is the product of the two numbers divided by their greatest common factor. The greatest common factor of 4 and 8 is 8. (See related question "What is the greatest common factor of 4 and 8?" for this calculation.) So, the least common multiple is 4 x 8 ÷ 4 = 8. Common multiples of 4 and 8 include 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, etc. Although 16 is a common multiple, it is not the least common multiple.
The least common multiple is 24. The greatest common factor is 4.
The GCF of 8 and 12 is 4, and the least common multiple is 24
Greatest Common Factor (GCF) for 8 4 is 4Least Common Multiple (LCM) for 8 4 is 8.
The Greatest Common Factor (GCF) is: 4 .The greatest common multiple of any set of integers is infinite.
The factors of 8 are 1, 2, 4, 8. The greatest multiple is infinite. You need at least one other number to compare it to to find something in common.
The greatest common multiple of any set of integers is infinite.
They are: 4 and 24 respectively
The GCF of 8 and 20 is 4, and the LCM of 8 and 20 is 40.
The greatest common multiple of any set of integers is infinite.
The GCF is 4. The LCM is 24. The LCF is 1. The GCM is infinite.
