The least common multiple can be found by writing up a bunch of multiples of each number, and finding where they meet. See below:

9-18,27,36,45,54,63,72,81,91,99

11-22,33,44,55,66,77,88,99

We see that these meet at 99, so this is our least common multiple

The word "least" is a superlative: that means there can be only one answer. There is only one least common multiple, not more than one common multiples.

LCM(9, 11) = 99.
