The U.S. issued Indian head cents in 1897. The buffalo design was first used on nickels in 1913.
If you have an 1897 Indian head cent, it's worth from $1 to $5 depending on condition. If you have something different, could you please post a new question with more information? Thanks!
There is no such coin. Buffalo NICKELS were first released in 1913. No 1-cent coin has ever carried a buffalo image.
Look at the coin again, the last U.S. 3 cent coin was struck in 1889. Post new question.
Years ago the 5 cent coin had a Buffalo on it.
A 5 cent 1937 buffalo coin is exactly 12,000 dollars in the years through 2010-2025.
No such coin exists, US cents in 1907 were Indian Head cents, the buffalo nickel wouldn't be minted until 1913. If you have an Indian Head cent, it is worth about $.75 if well worn, about $1 in decent shape and can be worth about $30 if completely uncirculated.
8-6-11>>> No such coin exist. All US coins dated 1897 (except 10 cent & 1 cent coins) have E PLURIBUS UNUM on them, this Latin phrase is the National Motto and can't be used to identify any US coin. Post new question with the denomination.
