George III was from the House of Hanover and your coin is a Hanoverian 1/6th Thaler from Brunswick and is silver. The obverse inscription is GEORGIUS.III.D.G.BRITANNIARUM.REX.F.D. with a right facing bust of George III and the letters G and M either side of the 1/6 in the circle. The reverse inscription is BRUNS.&.LUN.DUX.S.R.I.A.TH.&.ELECT.1807. The "globe" is a Coat of Arms surrounded by a garter and is Crowned. The letters N.D.R.F and F.SILB. appear in an arc below the Crowned Coat of Arms. Hopefully having successfully identified the coin, I am unable to give you a valuation, but will pass your question onto somebody who can. Please use the "DISCUSS" facility if you have any further comment or information.

There are many things which completely circle the globe. The first thing that comes to mind is the equator, but the artic and Antarctic circles also circle the globe (as well as every other degree of latitude). The taiga forest circles the globe. The atmosphere circles the globe.
