Can you convert a vinyl pool to a granite pool?
Yes, you can. It does look beautiful, but personally I don't
think the cost justifies the beauty. It will require more upkeep to
maintain it's look. If you are located in the Southwest, and need
calcium removed from it, glass beading can cause damage. There is
an alternate process, water blasting with magnesium sulfate, that
will not harm the granite. Before deciding on granite, check out
NPT and other specialty pool tile stores for futher advise. Once
there, you may find a tile made specifically for pools that you
like better than the granite.
