You can change liters to kL easily. If you were dealing with a number say with all zeros at the end, for example 5000, you just subtract the zeros from the number and 5000 liters is 5 kilograms. Say you were dealing with a number like 260, you would subract the zero again and it would be 0.26 A number like 578 has no zeros so there is no subracting. You just put it as a decimal which is 0.578 Good luck!

1 ml = 1/1000 of a liter, 1 kL = 1000 liters, so ratio is 106 (1 million). I have never heard of kL being used, normally this is called a cubic meter.

kl means "kiloliter", and the prefix "kilo" means 1000.
