Since you are working with liters in both cases, you do not need a conversion factor. In this case you are simple doing normal arithmetic. For purposes of being able to easily see one step to the other, I will set it up like an algebra problem.

1 L3 = x L so now you are looking for the value of x.

If I take the cubed root of each side, then I will be able to see what the value of x is.

I have no square root key, so I will just type it out.

Take the cubed root of 1 L3 which equals 1 L. Because the cubed root of 1 = 1, and the cubed root of L3 = L, the answer is:

1 L3 = 1 L

if you mean how do you convert litres to cubic metres, then the answer is that one cubic metre=1000 litres

1 ml = 1 cm³

1 l = 1000 cm³
