Well, calculating cubic meters is as easy as painting a happy little tree. All you need to do is measure the length, width, and height of the object in meters, then multiply these three measurements together. Just like adding colors to your canvas, multiply the three dimensions to find the volume in cubic meters. Remember, there are no mistakes, just happy little accidents in math.

The cubic meter of a cylinder can be calculated by using the formula of one half pi R square multiplied by the height. Then, the values need to be inputted into the formula and calculated for the answer.

You need to know the length and width of the cylinder. Next, multiply Pi (3.1416) times the square of the radius (half the width). Then multiply the result by the length of the cylinder. For example, the volume of a 10-foot long pipe with a diameter of 3 feet is:

Pi (3.1416) x square of the radius (1.52= 2.25) x length (10) = 70.686 cubic feet.

If the length, width and height is in meters you simply multiply length times width times height to get cubic meters. If the measurements are not in meters to begin with you have to convert them to meters first.

(pi)(radius2)(height)/231 = gallons/7.48 = ft3

Use this formula:

Volume = Pi(radius)2(height)
