Mu? My calculator has mc (memory clear), mr (memory recall), m- (subtract from memory), and M+ (add to memory)
but mu? It could mean memory undo. Look at your calculator again and check it out. Or check the little brochure that came with it when you bought it.
the via button means the variable.
It stands for mark up.
Mark Up
MU on a calculator typically refers to "memory unit," which allows users to store and recall numbers during calculations. This feature is useful for performing complex calculations that require intermediate results. Users can save a value to memory (often by pressing a button like "M+") and retrieve it later with "MR" (memory recall). The exact function may vary depending on the calculator model.
were is the carrot button on a scientific calculator
It means inverse, and performs the opposite of the given operation. For example, if you want inverse of tangent, you will use that inv button.
On a graphing calculator, it is the one that looks like an upside down V.

Ah, the MRC button on a calculator is a handy little tool. It stands for Memory Recall, which means it brings back whatever number you stored in the calculator's memory. Simply press the MRC button after you've stored a number, and it will display that number for you to use in your calculations. Just like adding a happy little tree to your painting, the MRC button can add a touch of simplicity and convenience to your math equations.
no button you gotta work it out yaself
It means mark up. But, I can't remember how to use it. I know you can find out how much a 15% markup on something would be, etc., but I've got to figure out how to use it again. It's been awhile.Hope this helps explain the maths...£100 x 15 MU gives £115...ie same as x 1.15No idea what the plus minus divide buttons do, probably spurious answers
The * on the number pad. You also have a calculator. It's in the Accessories of your Program files.
