A gram is a measure of mass. A millilitre is a measure of volume. The two measure different things and, according to basic principles of dimensional analysis, conversion from one to the other is not valid.
Some people still believe that there is a conversion in relation to water but that is only approximately true. Until 1964 (MORE THAN 50 YEARS AGO!) a litre was defined as the volume of one kilogram of pure water at 4 degrees Celsius and at a pressure of 760 millilitres of Mercury. With that definition a conversion would have been valid - but only for pure water and only under those conditions. In any case that definition of a litre was abandoned in favour of 1 litre =1000 cubic centimetres.
The current definition gives the density of pure water under those conditions as 999.9720 kg/metre3, not 1000.
1 gram
1 teaspoon is approximately 5 grams.
1 gram = 1 mililitre.
A gram of what? A gram of air at 100,000 ft. would fill billions of milliliters. A gram of the matter in the center of a superdense star would fill a tiny fraction of a milliliter (practically zero). A gram of pure water at 20 degrees C temperature and 1 atmosphere pressure will fill exactly 1 milliliter.
1 litre=1000milliliters
1 gram = 1000 milligrams 1 liter = 1000 milliliters 1 meter = 1000 millimeters
gram. * 1 liter- 1000 milliliters * 1 gram-100milligrams * 1 kilogram-1000 grams 1000 mL = 1 L1000 gram = 1 kg
A gram is equal to approximately 0.035 ounces, so a gram of tea is equivalent to roughly 0.035 ounces.
This is not a proper conversion. Milliliters (mL or ml) and liters (L) are measures of volume. Grams (g), kilograms (kg) and milligrams (mg) are measures of weight or mass.
One milliliter is equaled to one gramml are volume, grams are weight. it would be like asking how many miles in a pound?
Does not convert; milligrams (mg) and grams are measures of weight or mass and mL (milliliters) is a measure of volume.
The volume of 1 US tablespoon is 14.786765 milliliters. Only if you think of pure water, this 14.786765 milliliters weighs 14.786765 grams. But not syrup or oil. There is no special Australian gram. Gram is gram, everywhere in the world.
