The answer is dependent upon if you are talking fluid ounces or ounces in weight. If you are talking fluid ounces which most recipes do than you are looking at one cup. If you talking ounces in weight than that is dependent on the size of the marshmallows and their individual weight, and you would be better off just getting a kitchen scale if your recipe is giving you all your ingredients in weight measurements.

A Quick Help Liquid Measure

  • 6tsp (teaspoon) = 1tbs (tablespoon)
  • 2tbs = 1oz (ounces)
  • 8oz = 1 cup
  • 2 cups = 1 pint
  • 2 pints = 1 quart
  • 4 quarts = 1 gallon

A Quick Help Measure of Weight

  • 16 drams = 1 ounce
  • 16ounces = 1lbs (pound)
  • 2,000lbs = 1 ton
