weightloss depends on calories in and calories out!
so if you want to lose weight you have to burn more calories than you eat. It doesnt matter if your workout 1 full hour a day if you are going home and replacing it with junk food or whatever. If you are gaining weight it could be from muscle but i highly doubt it because its veyr hard to gain muscle so your just eating more calories that you are burning. Stick to a low fat diet. cut out the junk food. and stick to veggies fruits and Lena meats.running for 30 minutes does not burn that many caloreis belive me. those calories burned can be replaced by a slice or 2 of Pizza. its very easy to load up on the caloreis.
