1/2 Barrels are between 14 and 16 gallons, 1/4 barrels are between 7 and 8, and 1/6 barrels are between 5/6 most kegs that people get are the 1/2 keg kind. That is the US kegs. They vary between countries.

I don't know if you mean dimensions, but volume wise an average keg holds 88 pints of lager. There are 20 fluid ounce's of lager in a pint (in Britain anyway), therefore there are 1760 fluid ounce's in a keg. That equates to 11 UK gallons or 49.995 UK litres.

A keg is considered a half-barrel, which holds 15.5 gallons. This would be considered a 'full keg', but there are many variations of keg sizes.
