Should elementary school students use calculators?

Elementray school students should not use calculators because by using calculators they rely on them and there is no chance of learning a simple and basic calculation which cause a great trouble in future.

Not really because their not learning anything doing that. 20 years ago, eveyone had to do math by hand, you had to learn your multiplication, you had to-you had to-you had to- there was a lot of that. and now every one is taking the lazy way out and using calculators. Most of the kids in school today don't know their multiplication table, I'll admit it, i never learned, i wasn't told to learn it, they just said use the calculator. Now I'm taking college in the afternoons, and it's hard not knowing the multiplication table. I regret not going and taking the time myself to learn it. Calculators are an easy way out of work, and it's not right. But, this is also just my opinion.

Yes definitely
