we can make a system of equations to solve this.

x+y=16

x-y=12

if we add both equations together, we get

2x = 28

divide each side by 2

x=14

plug in 14 for x in either of the first equations.

14+y=16

subtract 14 from both sides.

y=2

thus, our answer is the numbers 14 and two.

is this me no its not

Since to have a difference of 2 and a sum of 5 means that the numbers are 1.5 and 3.5, there are no integers that fit those requirements.
