What do singers need math for?

Its very simple...you have to practice a lot ....or you can join some music class for learning concepts of raga's, tana's, sur, tala...This is the only way to become a successful, melodeous, sensational singer......

Singers have the same bills, credit cards, and bank accounts as everyone else. If a singer is very successful, they have to hire people, pay their salaries, know what and how to deduct expenses from their income for tax purposes; they have to sign contracts that share earnings with other people such as managers, promoters, etc. Many well known singers and other performers have been swindled by unscrupulous management of their money and even incurred heavy tax liens because the people who were supposed to be filing their tax forms and paying their taxes were not. If you don't know math, how will you know if the agent who gets 23% on a 200,000 dollar contract actually takes 43%...

Well im a musician and singer, but i dont really think you need any maths skills to become a successful singer. You just need a logic understanding of the notes and keys.

You need college algebra at most. If you would like to pursue higher maths then it couldn't hurt in case you find music is just not your thing but college algebra is what you need.
