The flasher unit is behind the dashboard fuse box , need a torch to locate it . the flasher unit is a pale green colour rectangle box 65mm x 30mm x 30mm and is pluged into a small board with other plugs . There is a small tab above the flasher that you need to press down and then pull (very difficult in tight space). hope this helps good luck.
it sure did in my 94 mustang gt with aode. I went from a 65mm to a BBk 70mm reset base idle and tps voltage to spot on and it adversely affected the ability of the tranny to shift proprely. reinstalled the stock tb and reset everything again and it was back to normal. But!! I purchased the tb from ebay used and posssibly it wasnt entirely correct for my car but it did affect the tranny.
