Where can you find step by step images of removing a Honda Civic 1997 door lock?

I've been told (and will attempt it today on a driver's door) that by in-bolting the front fender end next to the door, it is possible to get to the hinges and create a 1/2" of clearence, enough to wiggle the door and make ot let loose. I'll find out later.
