12/3 will work.
if light is not going off, bad switch or short in wiring to light!!
Older house wiring didn't always use a ground wire. It's acceptable to continue to use the older wiring, but if you update your wiring, anything that you improve must meet current wiring standards. You can replace a faulty light switch without updating the rest of the wiring, but if you bring the house up to modern standards it will improve the safety standards. If you can afford to upgrade your house wiring, the payoff will be worth it.
An emergency light is connected by attaching one set of wires to the buildings wiring and another to a built in battery. When the light detects the power has been cut, it will automatically switch over to its battery and turn on.
It is in parallel, so one light can be on while others are turned off.
There will always be a way to dismount the fixture. Look for some screws, they are usually hidden from sight.
wiring problem...easy to fix..no mechanic needed...
The dashboard lights may not be working due to a blown fuse, a faulty light bulb, or a wiring issue. It is advisable to check the fuse box first for any blown fuses, then inspect the light bulbs on the dashboard, and finally, have a professional check the wiring if needed.
Short in the wiring, brake light assembly, or possibly a defective brake light switch.

could be several things. the signal comes from the switch on your dash and follows wiring to a relay and more wiring to the clutch. you are bypassing all of that when "jumping" the clutch. if it works when jumped the clutch is good. get a test light and check the wiring to the clutch. good luck....a/c wiring sucks

A firefly is an example of direct light, as it emits its own light through a process called bioluminescence.
Check bulbs?
Just your fingernail. If it won't budge try using some silicone dry lubricant from a bike shop.
Depends on how it is broken. IS the plastic cracked? Is the wiring shorted? Is it falling off the car? Is it just not lighting up? More info is needed to answer this.
indirect covers a larger area but is less concentrated than direct light.
The only thing between the fuse box and the light is the wiring itself. You have a dead short (where the positive voltage wire is in direct contact with the negative wire or car chassis) in the wiring somewhere.
