The most common hamster is a Golden Hamster, also known as a Syrian Hamster that has a length of about 6.9 inches or 17.5 cm and a diameter of 7 cm = 7/2.54 in = 2.7559 or 2.756 inches.

note: I'm assuming an accuracy of 4 digits because a mile is 5280 feet although some might assume 3 because the least accurate conversion is to 3 digits at 2.54 but I digress.

So, diameter = how tall each stacked hamster is at:

2.756 in = 1 hamster

238900 miles = 1 distance to the moon

5280 ft = 1 mile

12 in = 1 ft

∴ 238900miles × 5280feet × 12inches × (1/2.756)hamster = 5492272859.22

or about 5492272859 hamsters or roughly 5.492 billion hamsters stacked to reach the moon from the earth.

this is woefully incorrect, even if you add all three together and stacked the hamsters lengthwise at an average of 7 inches each (which is essentially the same as each hamster of the same size of 7 inches), it would still need to be 8.13 times longer.
