Some carry their young until hatched, some bury them and then they hatch others like the siamese fighting fish have the male create a bubble nest on the surface and the eggs are collected by the male in their mouths and blown in to the bubbles untill young hatch. The eco system is vast where fish are concerned and because of predators they have come up with cleaver ways to continue reproduction
