Use the multiplication tables! Just multiple by 3:

Example:

3 x 1 = 3

3 x 2 = 6

3 x 3 = 9

3 x 4 = 12

3 x 5 = 15

Or, just add 3 over and over again.

0 + 3 = 3

3 + 3 = 6

6 + 3 = 9

9 + 3 = 12

12 + 3 = 15
