The god cards effect are very powerful. I'm not sure to sure about Slifer because of the XXXX on his attackand defence. Ra's effect only works if you sacrifice 3 cards above ATK:1500.But, they must have the same sort of effect. After that, you can summon Ra. Now, you can sacrifice any card (Unless they are Ultra rare) to the graveyard and Ra's attack and defence will be increased by half the sacrificed monster's attack and defence. And that's Ra's effect. Now, getting on to Obilisk. His effect only works if you sacrifice 3 or 4 cards that has ATK:1000 & DEF:1000. After that, you can summon him.
PS. I thik Slifer has the same effect as Obilisk.
well there's practicly no effects but the ''cannot be used in duel'' thing at the bottom but
"The Winged Dragon of Ra" and the rest of the Egyptian God Cards do not have offical rules pertaining to them, but it is generally accepted that Spell, Trap and Monster effects cannot target God Cards. So cards like "Smashing Ground", "Mirror Force" and "Torrential Tribute" would be able to destroy God Cards. "Sakuretsu Armor", "Rageki Break", "Exiled Force" and other cards that target a specific monster would not be able to target a God Card.

Use cards that can Special Summon and be tributed for one of the God cards (Ex. Dandylion, Fiend's Sanctuary, Zoma the Spirit).
God Cards are not legal game cards - they have no text because there is no game text to go there.
The Egyptian God cards in Stardust Accelerator are all protected from magic or trap effects. These cards are extremely rare in the game and can only be obtained through use of WiFi.
The real God cards don't have effects in their text since they are not considered real cards; just promotional. But if you do want their effects, check out these Yugioh Wikia pages:http:/yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Obelisk_the_Tormentorhttp:/yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Obelisk_the_Tormentor_(Effect_Monster)http:/yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Slifer_the_Sky_Dragonhttp:/yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/The_Winged_Dragon_of_Ra

Players may use the God cards in casual Duels (however, it would be wise if effects were agreed upon prior to the Duel if you are using the tournament-illegal versions). You may NOTuse these cards in officially sponsored Duels or tournaments (tournament-legal versions may be used).
