no a cylinder doesn't have a vertex because a vertex is a corner and cylinders are round and stuff that is round doesn't have corners
The world would be round xD
Well ideally a gas container would be a sphere, because the Pressure would be equally distributed over a 'mechanically symmetrical surface". There would be no structurally weaker points, like edges and corners. But for convenience, handling, and storage that is not a practical shape, but the Cylinder is next best. The round sectional shape of the cylinder has no edges or corners. The edges at the top and bottom are minimum compared to the rest of the tank. So a Cylindrical tank is good.
They are round-ish in shape and covered in black-and-white fur. Pandas are beautiful animals!
Oh, dude, a circle has zero vertices. I mean, it's just a smooth, round shape with no corners or points sticking out. So, if you were hoping to count some vertices on a circle, you might be out of luck. But hey, at least you can enjoy its perfect symmetry, right?

a square keep is easier to build but the corners were vulnerable to rams and mines. The round keep has no corners.
A circle has no corners. :) It just goes round and round and round...
The defences of a concentric castle were round towers - It was harder for attackers to make round towers collapse. Unlike square towers they had no corners, which collapsed if holes were dug underneath the foundations.
No corners, two faces

Newer castles were made with stone and rounded corners. the reason was that it was an advance round corners were good because they had fewer space to hide and also the shape deflected any catapults or missiles.
Because it's round.
