Best Answer

In general no, but in one specific special case yes.

A rhombus is a quadrilateral in which all four sides are of equal length.

A square is a special case of a rhombus in which all four angles are equals (to 90°).

A rectangle is a quadrilateral in which all four angles are equal (to 90°) and opposite sides are equal in length

A square is a special case of a rectangle in which all four sides are equal in length.

Thus the only rectangle that can be a rhombus is the special case when a rectangle is a square (which is also a rhombus).

No. All four sides of a rhombus are the same length. That is not the case with a rectangle except in the special case where the rectangle is a square.
