If you have at least 2 of the angle measurements and are trying to find the measurement of a missing angle you should do this: When you have the measurement of two angles, add them together. Then subtract the total from 180(always the sum of all of the triangle's angle's measurements). It will give you the measurement of the missing angle.

If you are trying to find the length of the missing side, then use the Pythagorean theorem (a squared+b squared=c squared, c being the missing side) THIS ONLY WORKS FOR RIGHT TRIANGLES, however.

first of all this didnt help me. second that therom is stupid cuz im only in 8th grade integrated algebra! get me a good answer jeez. i need to find the missing lenngth help me someone

Honey, the thereom is the only way to get the right answer. And I'm in 7th grade, so get over the "you're only in 8th grade" I'm in 7th grade and understood what he said.

I'd suggest using the answer he gave, 'cause that's the best you can get.

It depends on what is known about the triangle.

Why is pythagorus theorem useful?

to find the missing side of a triangle

How do you find a missing side of a triangle?

The way to find the missing side of a triangle-THIS ONLY WORKS ON RIGHT ANGLED TRIANGLES-is square both sides seperately and then add them together to give you the square of the missing side-find the square root and that is the size of the missing side-eg. if you have a RIGHT ANGLED TRIANGLE with sides of 3inch and 4inch then (3x3) + (4x4) = 25 so the square root of 25 is 5 meaning the missing side is 5inch.

How can you find a missing side or angle of a right triangle?

180 minus two known angle = missing angle. Use Pythagoras' theorem to find its missing side.

How do you find the missing side from a right triangle?

to find the missing side of a right triangle you need the pythagorean theorem. A2 + B2 = C2. c is the longest side and a and b is the other sides. no particular side is a or b just the longest side is c.

Find the missing side of a right triangle whose hypotenuse is 13 if one of the sides of the triangle is 5?

12

How do you find a missing exterior angle of a triangle?

At each vertex of a triangle, an exterior angle of the triangle may be formed by extending ONE SIDE of the triangle.

How can you find the length of the missing side of a triangle using square root?

You use the pythagorean theorem.

How do you find the missing measurements of a triangle if you only know one side?

they are all the same length

How do you find the length to a missing side of a right triangle?

Pythagorean Theorem: a2 + b2= c2 where c is the hypotenuse of a right triangle. Hypotenuse is the side of a right triangle opposite to the right angle.

What is the right triangle if a12 and b13 what is c?

If the 13 is the longest side of that right triangle, then the missing side is 5 . If 'c' is the longest side of that right triangle, then the missing one is 17.692 (rounded).

How do you find a missing side to a right triangle?

A triangle always has 180 units. You would have to add up the two sides and subtract that from 180.
