To find the circumfrance of a circle, you need to multiply 2 times pi, times the circle's radius. If you don't know what that is, you multiply two times pi, and pi equals 3.14, and then multiply that by the radius, which is the measurement of half the circl'e diameter. the diameter is the distance from one side of the circle, to the exact opposite. you measure this with a ruler. HALF the measurement of the diameter is the radius. Example---the diameter of a circle is 20 cm. half the diameter is 10 cm, which is the radius. Multiply 2 times pi[which equals 3.14], times the radius. Good luck!
If the circumference (not circumfrance) is 31.4, the radius is 4.9975 units (to 4 dp).
diameter ------------- Diameter. The R (radius) of a circle multiplied by two equals the diameter.
You press pi button on the calculator or type in 3.14 you then times it by the radius then square it. :) x
Formula for area: A = Pi*R² (Pi = 3,1416 and R² is the radius multiplied by itself) Formula for circumference: C + Pi*D (D is diameter) Formula for Diameter: D = 2*R (radius multiplied by 2))
The formula for the circumference of a circle is π x d (diameter). Solution: C= π x d; C=3.1416 x 50; C=157.08 feet or 157 feet (rounded to nearest whole number).
Formula to find the circumfrance of a circle~(2)(3.14)r or (3.14)d
multiply the radius by two then pultiply that by pi
the circumference of a circle is the length around the outer edge. and you find it by using the formula 2 times pi times the radius of the circle
circumference of a circle = pi*diameter or 2*pi*radius
it is the circumfrance of a circle divided by pi.
If the circumference (not circumfrance) is 31.4, the radius is 4.9975 units (to 4 dp).
8
The circumference of a circle is twice the radius times PI [2*pi*r] with r = 4 >> about 25
The diameter should be 7m.
125.6 feet
Work it out the circumfrance of a circle is pie x the diameter!
circumference = 2*pi*5
