You measure the sides of the shape you are finding the perimetre of and then add together the measurements. Then you have your answer.
eg: 8cm x 7cm x 3cm x 5cm
8+7+3+5=23
answer is 23cm
I don't understand why there are so many questions about rectangles' perimeter. You just add the length and the width and double your answer....
The perimeter of any triangle is the sum of its 3 sides
The area of a square that has a perimeter of 32m is: 64 m2
in order to find the perimeter of a shape add up all the sides measurements
You can find out how many angles are in a shape by counting how many edges a shape has. for instance.. a square has 4 edges so it has 4 angles
^Perimetre. Outer length of a shape.
The perimetre of a shape is all of the sides aded together.
Add up together its 4 sides
5m Check: 5+5+7+7 = 24m
You add the lengths of all the sides.
length plus width equals perimetre
Yes by working out individual sections and then adding them altogether.
Perimetre of squre is 4*(side) and side is 8 cm so perimetre is 4*8=32cm
4 times the length of its side.
this is stupidinuss
It is the sum of its 4 sides added together
1/2*perimetre of base*slant height
