If your solution comes from an equation, then you simply plot your answer on the number line. If the solution comes from an inequality, you either circle the solution, or color it in, depending on whether your inequality was < or < =. If it is <, then circle your point on the number line, and shade the line for numbers less than your solution. If it is >, circle your point on the number line, and shade the line for the numbers greater than your solution. If it is <=, repeat above, but instead of circling, shade your solution's point as well.

First you must solve the inequality for the variables x and y. Here is my example. x + 2 < 13 solution is x < 11. <----------------------------------> This is the number line. To plot it, put an empty circle (or non colored dot) on the number 10 of your number line since x is less than 11. For less than or equal to (or greater than or equal to) put a colored dot on the 11. After you put the dot or circle on the line, color the line in that general direction. If it less than or greater than a certain number, color in that direction (negative-positive) and etc.

You need to use a ruler, then use a pen, and make a line across at a 30 degree angle. Draw your angle line and show the angle across the angle. Then, make another dash at the 90 degree mark. Repeat. Then, make your mark in contrast with the other angles. Divide answer by 3. After that, make sure that all degreeses have been divided by 3 then multiplied by 5, then add all prducts

You put a dot one fifth of the way from 2 to 3. Divide the space between 2 and 3 into five equal sized imaginary segments, then put the dot at the end of the first segment, before the other four segments.
