In a right triangle, one of the angles is already given - 90 degrees.

Since the angles of a triangle must add up to 180 degrees, the other two must always add up to 90, so that after you add the right angle, the sum is 180.

So both of the other angles have to be less than 90. That is, they both must be acute. So there can be NO obtuse angles in a right triangle. There are EXACTLY two acute angles in a right triangle.

How can you determine if a triangle is acute obtuse or right triangle?

If all of the angles in a triangle are acute then it is an acute triangle. If one angle is right (or 90 degrees) then it is a right triangle. If one angle is obtuse then it is an obtuse triangle.

Can you have a triangle with 1 acute 1 right and 1 obtuse angle?

No it is impossible a triangle can have: 3 acute angles 1 right and 2 acute angles 1 obtuse and 2 acute angles

What type of triangle is angle abc obtuse acute or right?

If one of the angles is 90 degrees then it is right ange triangle If one of the angles is obtuse then it is an obtuse triangle If the three angles are 3 different acute then it is a scalene triangle If two of the angles are equal then it is an isosceles triangle If the three angles are equal then it is an equilateral triangle

Do all triangles have two acute angles?

INCORRECT: No because there is a obtuse triangle and a right triangleCORRECT ANSWERYes all triangles have at least two acute angles. Obtuse triangles and right triangles also have at least two acute angles. They are called obtuse triangles and right triangles because by definition they are triangles with ONE obtuse angle and ONE right angle. So therefore they both have 2 acute angles. Also for an acute triangle, it would have 3 acute angles.

What is a triangle with an obtuse angle called?

There are five different types of triangles named after their angles. Right triangle, Acute triangle, Isosceles Triangle ,equilateral triangle, and obtuse triangle. The Obtuse Triangle is the triangle with an obtuse angle.
