12 inches by 12 inches = 1 square foot
The best way to figure out how many 13x13 tile will be needed to cover 30 sf of floor is to calculate 13x13/144 give coverage per tile (1.1736), then take 30/1.736 = 25.56 tiles.
Well 12" X 12" would be ONE square foot wouldn't it? so if each tile is ONE square foot how many would be in 142 SQ FEET? sounds like the old who is buried in Grant's Tomb? there would be 142 one square foot tiles in 142 square feet.
If the tiles are 12 inches x 12 inches then they measure 1 square foot. So, you would need 35 of them to cover an area of 35 square feet.
You have failed to tell us the thickness. I have seen these in many thicknesses from 3/16 right up to 7/16.
12" x 12" tile is 1 square foot.
144 tile assuming you have no waste.
The amount of tiles that will be needed will depend on the size of the tile. Example: if you are using a 12" x 12" tile and you have 168 SF to cover than you will need 168 tiles. If you are using 24" x 24" tile than you would need 84 tiles to cover 168 SF. Always remember to allow about 3% to 5% for waste or attic stock...... if the tile gets damaged before installation or if after the installation a tile need to be repaired you will have the additional tile to complete it....FYI tile is die lot sensitive. The same tile you buy today could look different if it is not made from the same run
50cm x 50cm tile = 7.24/SF per tile 466/7.24 = 64.36 you would need 65 tiles
None, if they are intact.
You need 225 tiles. :)
tile is usually 12"x12", but you need to factor in the cost of grout and labor if you are not doing it yourself. $2.75/tile x 528 tiles = $1452 install @ $5-10/SF = $3000-5000 depending on conditions and material required
12 x 13 or 156 tiles.

12' X 12' = 144 sq ft
2.66 Square Feet 1 square foot = 144 Square inches (12" X 12"). To determine square feet (SF), from suare inches (SI), divide the SI by 144. 16" X 24" equals 384 SI 384 / 144 equals 2.666667 SF FORMULA: (W X L) / 144 = SF (where W = Width in inches and L = lenght in inches) Also helpful, to determine Square yards (for carpet, etc.) Divide the Square feet by 9 EXAMPLE 3 feet by 3 feet = 9 SF. 9/9 = 1 Square Yard 10 X 12 room = 120 SF 120/9 = 13.33 SY
