It depends upon how cold it is outside. However, my computer consumes roughly 500 Watts and can adequately heat my 960 cubic foot room when the temperature outside is around freezing outside.

Your 1500 Watts of heating power should be just as effective at heating 3 times the volume, or 2,880 cubic feet.

Presuming that your room is 8 feet tall, this means that it should be able to heat a room up to 360 square feet large.
