If one of the sides of the hendecagon must coincide with a side of the triangle, then there are 11 triangles with a interior point as a common vertex. Alternatively, there are 9 triangles with the same side of the hendecagon in each triangle.
However, each of these triangles, for example, can be divided into two, and then they can be further divided. So the total number of triangles is any [large] number you like.
The proper term for an 11 sided polygon is a hendecagon (undecagon is a mix of latin and greek roots) and you can triangulate it with as many triangles as you like. There is a minimum number of triangles though. The smallest i could get is 9, but you might be able to get it smaller
The hendecagon is a polygon with eleven sides.
A hendecagon can have upto 5 pairs of parallel lines.
11Eleven.

9 (two less than the number of vertices in the polygon).
A hendecagon has 11 lines of symmetry.
A hendecagon can have upto 5 pairs of parallel lines.
A right hendecagon can have no parallel sides because there are eleven sides to a hendecagon. It is not a requirement that there be any pairs of parallel sides in an irregular hendecagon, although there could be one or more pairs.
