The diameter of one bicycle wheel is 28 inches and its spokes run from the hub (or center) to the edge of the rim. The diameter of another bicycle wheel 21 inches. What is the difference in inches between the length of the spokes of the two wheels?

pi * diameter = circumference, if that's what you're looking for. But be aware that the numbers and sizes used to describe bicycle tires are often very inaccurate. So all you have to do is just subtract 28 from 21 and divide your answer by two!! 28-21=7 7/2=3.5

The diameter of one bicycle wheel is 28 inches and its spokes run from the hubor center to the edge of the rim The diameter of another bicycle wheel 21 inches What is the difference in inches?

22 inches because pi=3.14 and 28-21=7 and 7x3.14=22

The diameter of one bike wheel is 28 inch and its spokes run from the center to the edge of the rim The diameter of another bicycle wheel is 21 inch What is the difference in inches between them?

28 - 21 = 7Which is a fairly silly answer as there are no 21" bike wheels. The spoke thing is quite misleading, as there are several things that aren't mentioned here that affect spoke length. If stood side by side the 28" wheel will reach 7" higher than the 21" wheel.7 inches difference . As 28-21=7The diameter of one bicycle wheel is 28 inches and its spokes run from the hub (or center) to the edge of the rim. The diameter of another bicycle wheel 21 inches. What is the difference in inches between the length of the spokes of the two wheels?

What is the difference in a radius and a diameter?

Radius is from the center of a circle to the outer edge. Diameter is from the outer edge to the opposite outer edge, i.e., through the center. The diameter has twice the length of the radius.

A chord. a diameter also has endpoints on a circle, the only difference is a diameter goes through the center point and a chord doesnt have to go through the center. a diameter is considered a chord.

What is the difference between circumference and radiuas?

The circumference is the distance around. The diameter is the distance across. The radius is half the diameter, from the center to the rim.
