Linton)We're floating down the stream of time, we have not long to stayThe stormy clouds of darkness will turn to brightest dayThen let us all take courage for we're not left aloneThe life-boat soon is coming to gather the Jewels homeThen cheer, my brothers cheer, our trials will soon be o'erOur loved ones we shall meet, shall meet upon the golden shoreWe're pilgrims and we're strangers here, we're seeking a city to comeThe life-boat soon is coming to gather the Jewels homeThe life-boat soon is coming by eye of faith I seeAs she sweeps through the waters to rescue you and meAnd land us safely in the port with friends we love so dear"Get ready," cries the Captain, "O look, she's almost here"Then cheer, my sisters cheer, our trials will soon be o'erOur loved ones we shall meet, shall meet upon the golden shoreWe're pilgrims and we're strangers here, we're seeking a city to comeThe life-boat soon is coming to gather the Jewels homeNow's the time to get on board while she is passing byBut if you stand and wait too long, you shall forever dieThe fare is paid for one and all, the Captain bids you comeAnd get on board the life-boat she'll carry you safely homeThen cheer, my brothers cheer, our trials will soon be o'erOur loved ones we shall meet, shall meet upon the golden shoreWe're pilgrims and we're strangers here, we're seeking a city to comeThe life-boat soon is coming to gather the Jewels home.
You would only capitalize mom or dad when in that sentence you would be able to replace it as a name- "Hey Mom, drive to the soccer game please" you can replace Mom to be- "Hey Donna, drive me to the soccer game please" You wouldn't capitalize it when can't replace it as a name- "My mom likes flowers" you wouldn't say- "My Donna likes flowers" Hope this helps!
