Confused!

No seriously, a quadrilateral is a plane figure that means it is a 2D shape (or polygon). It is created by intersecting 4 straight lines.

main quadrilaterals are parallelogram, rhombus, trapezium, rectangle, square, kite.

Quad derives from 4 and Lateral deriving from line - hence 4 lines. An alternative name is a quadrangle (4 angles).

3D shapes are created by joining plane polygons in 3 different planes i.e. 3 x 2D shape surfaces.

What is a 3d quadrilateral with one pair of parallel sides?

A quadrilateral is a plane or 2d figure with four sides. A 3d shape (object) has a name ending with -hedron, eg a tetrahedron which is a four sided 3d shape. A 3d quadrilateral has no meaning. Sides (edges) do exist in 3d shapes, but a more pertinent attribute is faces. Do you mean by "3d quadrilateral" a 3d shape which has a quadrilateral as a base and at most 4 or 5 other sides, ie a pentahedron (usually called a square pyramid) or a hexahedron (some types of which are called cuboids and cubes)? Please re-ask using consistent terminology, eg What is a 3d shape with one pair of parallel faces and 6 faces?

What do call a regular quadrilateral?

Well, you are supposed to call an irregular quadrilateral an IRREGULAR QUADRILATERAL. Haha. There really isn't any name for a regular quadrilateral. You just call it a quadrilateral or whatever the shape is. You could call it a REGULAR QUADRILATERAL.
