A complementary angle is an angle of a size so that when added to another angle, the two together equal 90 degrees.
Complementary angles add up to 90 degrees whereas supplementary angle add up to 180 degrees

It is an angle that is very polite and makes nice comments on your clothes and hair Normally id get rid of that but its the standard bad joke. In reallity a complimentary angle is one of a pair. A pair of complimentary angle are ones where the sum of the angles add up to 90o.
