I think it's called a vertice, and there are 3 vertices in a triangle. -- WRONG

CORRECTION- it is NOT called a vertice. A vertice is each angle point, there ARE three vertices in a triangle but they the point of each angle.

Now, a segment connecting the midpoints of two sides of a triangle is called a mid-segment. There are three mid-segments in a triangle.

What is the line called when you join 2 mid-points in a triangle?

It would be called the midsegment of the triangle. And when you have all the midpoints of the triangle joined, you would get the midsegment triangle. It is one fourth of the area of the actual triangle

What is the relationship between a triangle and chords in geometry?

In geometry, a chord is a line segment that connects two points on a circle. In a triangle, chords can be drawn connecting the vertices of the triangle to create a circumscribed circle that passes through all three vertices. This circle is called the circumcircle of the triangle.
