The second LARGEST? Is that correct? I think the second SMALLEST is a much more sensible question. How could you possibly know which is the LARGEST, much less the second largest? The SMALLEST is of course 1. Since 1^2 = 1, 1^3 = 1 and 1^5 = 1. The second SMALLEST I could find is 1073741824. I didn't try all possible numbers, but that was the second smallest I could find. 1024^2 = 1073741824, 32768^3 = 1073741824 and 64^5 = 1073741824. My initial gut was 64, but it isn't a perfect 5th, 2^5 = 32 NOT 64. Just try a couple 5th powers and see which are factorable (into a perfect square and a perfect cube). If you have a graphing calculator (or a computer) you can use the 3rd root and square root functions to do the math for you. But 64^5 was the smallest I could find (other than 1). Other numbers like 12^5, 24^5 and 32^5 did not work-out but 64 did. Hope this helps!
99801 is the greatest 5 digit number * * * * * 99801 is not a perfect square! Sqrt(99801) = 315.91 (approx). The largest 5 digit perfect square is 99856 = 3162
√1476 ≈ 38.419, so the largest perfect square less than 1476 would have to be 382, or 1444.
I suggest you try to split the number up into prime factors. It should then be clear what the largest square factor is - simply look for repeated prime factors.
That would be 25 . In fact, 25 is the onlyfactor of 75 that's a perfect square.
No to be a perfect square you should be able to take the number and square root it on the calculator and get an integer.
There can be only one perfect square for a number and for 205200000 it is 42,107,040,000,000,000
We need to know what number the square is a factor of.
64
The largest 3-digit number - not itself a perfect square - is 999. Calculate its square root, round the answer down, then square the answer again.
It is the perfect square of that number.
999,950,884 = (31,622)2
The largest perfect square factor of 48 is 16.
Then the number is called a "perfect square".Then the number is called a "perfect square".Then the number is called a "perfect square".Then the number is called a "perfect square".

To find the largest perfect square that will divide 4312 with no remainder, we need to factorize 4312. The prime factorization of 4312 is 2^3 * 7 * 97. To find the largest perfect square, we need to pair up the prime factors into pairs of 2. The largest perfect square that will divide 4312 with no remainder is (2^2)^2 = 16.
10000 is the square of 100 so you're looking for the square of 99 which is 9801.
For a number to be a perfect square, the number's square root has to be a whole number. 9 is a perfect square because its square root is a whole number, 3. If the square root of the number is a decimal, then it is not a perfect square. For example, 13 does not divide evenly so it not a perfect square.
