have no idea....it must be cone by shahasadi
A+
Every statement apart from the axioms or postulates.
An octagonal pyramid has nine faces. It also has nine vertices and 16 edges. You can find the volume of this pyramid by using the formula that the base 'B' multiplied by the height 'h' must be divided by three.
not b not a its contrapositive
A square-based pyramid
have no idea....it must be cone by shahasadi
This is an impossibility. If it is a solid figure then it will have more than 1 surface. If it has only 1surface and it is a solid, then it must be a sphere, but the surface of a sphere is not flat is it? By using the word 'solid' then by definition, it is three dimensional and has thickness. A cylinder has no vertices , but it has 2flat surfaces. A vertex is a point where three lines meet, such as on a pyramid, which has 4 vertices. Have I forgotten something or is this a 'trick' question?
Be able to imagine the solid figure as if you are spinning it in your mind. Know every face. To draw a specific view, imagine being a tiny speck of a person standing at that viewpoint. What do you see? It should be a flat, two dimensional figure. For example, imagine a cone. Stand the cone on its base. Imagine that you pick up the cone and look at its base. What is it? A circle. A circle is easy to draw. Then draw it. You have to have a mental picture of every solid figure in your mind unless the solid figure is shown to you. You also must have the ability to picture objects turning in your mind.
If it is rectangular pyramid then it must be pyramidal in shape: otherwise it would not be called that!
The if statement must contain else.
All the faces of a pyramid MUST be polygons.
Which solid figures have a top view that is the same as the bottom view? The top and bottom view of every solid figure MUST be the same. For example, the view of a square based pyramid is a square: whether viewed from above or below.
Statement: All birds lay eggs. Converse: All animals that lay eggs are birds. Statement is true but the converse statement is not true. Statement: If line A is perpendicular to line B and also to line C, then line B is parallel to line C. Converse: If line A is perpendicular to line B and line B is parallel to line C, then line A is also perpendicular to line C. Statement is true and also converse of statement is true. Statement: If a solid bar A attracts a non-magnet B, then A must be a magnet. Converse: If a magnet A attracts a solid bar B, then B must be non-magnet. Statement is true but converse is not true (oppposite poles of magnets attract).
Yes, it must because a frustum is only a part of a cone.
In an if statement, the condition must be enclosed in parentheses.
The word is spelled pyramid. Nutritionists must learn the Food Pyramid.
